April 20, 2010	ASIS Greater Los Angeles Chapter Luncheon. $30.00 per person. We will have a great opportunity to hear from someone who went to Haiti to assist in the rescue effort after the earthquake. Dr. Steven Chin, M.D. is the Medical Director for Disaster as well as an emergency room doctor at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier. He is also a member of the LA County/California Task Force Team 2, and was deployed right after the earthquake took place. Dr. Chin has a multitude of photographs and will present to us his experiences during that disaster response.

May 18, 2010	ASIS Greater Los Angeles Chapter Luncheon. Lifetime ASIS Member Jerry Martin will speak. Please join us for this great presentation. $30.00 per person.
June 15, 2010	ASIS Greater Los Angeles Chapter Luncheon. Our speaker this month is Richard Long, CPP. Richard is Vice President – Law Enforcement Division for 3SI Security Systems and has been very active in ASIS. His topic is very critical in today’s environment and one that we all should look at in our own organizations and personal situations… and that is ‘leadership vs. management, during crisis decision making’. During one of Richard’s quarterly lectures at San Jose State University, he outlined the leadership style and decision making of General Colin Powell during the transition from Operation Desert Shield to Desert Storm. The end focus is positive motivation and the beneficial impact on team morale from this kind of dynamic leadership.
